Library and Creativity Centres
At our Library and Creativity Centres children get a space to indulge themselves in beautifully illustrated story books, explore their hidden talents and participate in extracurricular activities like, drawing, painting, singing, quiz and dance.
Library and Creativity Centres: Igniting the Flame & Nurturing Talent
In six urban village schools across Noida, Books for All has created vibrant spaces where imagination thrives. Each Library and Creativity Centre, led by a full-time Librarian, is more than a room full of books—it’s a hub for creative exploration.
Each library is set up in a dedicated room provided by the school, thoughtfully transformed into a cheerful, inviting space. Brightly painted walls, simple furniture, durries, whiteboards, green boards, soft boards, educational charts, and shelves filled with beautifully illustrated storybooks create an atmosphere that sparks curiosity and creativity! Additionally, remedial classes are held in these libraries to support students who need extra help, ensuring that no child is left behind.
Library periods inculcate a love for reading, while creativity sessions in art, craft, singing, dance, and drama help children express themselves beyond the bounds of their textbooks. Through quizzes, competitions, festival celebrations, and commemoration of national and international days, children experience a richer school life—one that fosters joy, confidence, and curiosity.
“Here, I found the courage to dance, the joy to read, and the space to dream.”
— Rani, Class 6, BFA Creativity Centre
These centres are filling gaps left by the conventional school curriculum, nurturing not just learning but the whole child.
Programmatic Highlights from Our Libraries
Reading Programs
Storytelling and book reading sessions are held regularly to nurture a genuine love for books. These quiet yet consistent moments not only deepen children’s engagement with books but also strengthen their understanding of academic texts, supporting both emotional and cognitive growth.
Art & Creativity, Quiz and Completion, Celebration of Important Days and Sports
Throughout the year, children participate in drawing and painting activities that explore themes such as nature, peace, and current affairs. Through colours and lines, they express their understanding of the world around them.
Craft sessions, especially around festive occasions—bring joy, encourage creativity, and provide an inclusive space where every child can feel proud of their imagination. Quiz on different subjects and celebration of national and international days increase the knowledge and general awareness of students while Sports Day brings them cheer!
