IMPACTOur Impact: Transforming Lives Through Books, Creativity and Skilling
At Books for All (BFA), we believe that access to books and quality guidance can rewrite a student’s future. From remote villages to urban centers, our initiatives are bridging the educational divide across India.
Library & Creativity Centres
BFA’s 6 Library and Creativity Centers serve as vibrant spaces for promoting reading and pursuit of creativity for over 2,000 students annually.
- Academic Synergy: Storybooks foster a love for reading, which translates into higher engagement with academics.
- Holistic Growth: We host quizzes, conduct art and craft sessions and awareness programs, and celebrate important days and events to nurture well-rounded individuals.
- Character Building: Activities are designed to inculcate strong values and general awareness, ensuring students grow into responsible citizens.
Sarthak: Sponsored Students Programme
We give wings to the dreams of deserving students in the villages of Noida by sponsoring education in reputed English and Hindi medium schools.
- Life-Changing Results: Our oldest scholars are now graduating college or entering professional careers, effectively breaking the cycle of poverty.
- The Ripple Effect: When one student succeeds, they become a role model. Their siblings receive better guidance, and their families are lifted out of hardship.
- Vocational Success: Many scholars have completed specialized training and are now the primary breadwinners for their households.
Saksham: Career Counselling & Vocational Training
We empower youth to transition to careers through targeted support and skill development.
- Outreach: Career counselling provided to over 9,000 students in Noida’s Inter Colleges.
- Vocational Skills: 504 students (including 360 girls) from underprivileged backgrounds were enrolled in high-demand vocational courses including Paramedical, Web Design, Cosmetology, and Culinary Arts.
- Employment Success: As of March 2026, 372 students have completed their training program and 290 students are gainfully employed, with many securing promotions and competitive salaries.
- Women’s Empowerment: In alignment with “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao,” the majority of our vocational trainees are girls.
Wall Hung Libraries (WHL)
Bringing the magic of books to the most remote corners of India.
- National Footprint: 1247 WHLs installed across 24 States and 4 Union Territories, available in 11 regional languages.
- Innovative Learning: We guide schools to use these libraries not just for reading, but as inspiration for skits, drawing, and creative expression.
- Vocabulary & Curiosity: These accessible libraries have a cascading effect on academic outcomes by expanding students’ vocabulary and curiosity.
Sparsh: Braille & Tactile Books and Games
Our mission is to ensure that visual impairment is never a barrier to the joy of reading.
- Beyond the Curriculum: While textbooks are often available in Braille, storybooks and general awareness materials are rare. Games such as chess, ludo, snakes and ladders and playing cards, which were unheard of by most institutions have been another game changer for these students.
- Wide Reach: As of March 2026, SPARSH has reached 315 institutions in 28 States & 2 UTs, benefiting more than 25000 visually impaired students, including those in remote regions in the North East, Ladakh, and other Himalayan States..
- The Power of Joy: These books do more than educate; they pique curiosity and bring immense joy to children in even the remotest areas of the country.
